March is going to be a busy month for Toastmasters, and here are the events and deadlines:
· Toastmasters Awareness Month - plan and carry out special activities to create Toastmasters Awareness.
· Talk Up Toastmasters Campaign - recruit 5 new members for your club before March 31, 2003 and receive a Talk Up Toastmasters Ribbon from TI.
· Semi-Annual Membership Report forms are mailed to club presidents send your Semi-Annual Reports and dues to reach T I by April 1, 2003.
· Proxy certificates are mailed to club presidents for voting at the Annual Business Meeting held during the International Convention send your proxy form to District Governor Dr. John Lau DTM as soon as possible if you are not attending the International Convention.
· Area Governors club visits to be completed by March 31, 2003.
· Area Governors to submit Round 2 Club Officers Training report form to reach T I on March 31, 2003 by 5:00 pm Pacific time.
· All Areas to complete Area level International Speech and Table Topics Contests.
The LGET and LGM have announced that a special District 51 10th Anniversary Award will be presented during our 10th Annual District Convention in Miri in May 2003 to members who:
· Complete their CTM or ATM between March 1, 2003 and April 30, 2003 or
· Sponsor or mentor a new club between July 1, 2002 and April 30, 2003.
