On March 13, 2003 at the MAS Academy, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; it was an electrifying meeting when 2 members of the newly chartered clubs DARED TO EXCEL to achieve their CTMs in 82 days!

Capt Nawawi, senior GM of Mas In-flight Operations, made a clarion call on "Malaysia Boleh" (Malaysia Can) in his speech and motivated the audience to set challenges beyond their expectations.

SandraSegaran, Trainer in Aviation Security shared his secrets in "The Positive Mindset that kept him going," which enthralled the audience on his personal and professional journey.

Their theme that evening was LET'S DO IT and the evening ended with a joyous and happy note of WE HAVE DONE IT!

The Company has set an amazing goal of ensuring every new member who joins will within one year achieve their CTM!

It is exciting Toastmasters can bring a wonderful and transformational experience to every member. The Communications and Leadership program has awakened the giant in many people when they discover the power of communication can move, inspire, convince and persuade the audience towards a higher goal and purpose.

What can this mean for you as a Toastmaster leader?

For many of us, it means we can set the benchmarks to continually progress and move forward by leading, speaking and participating.

We can set milestones for ourselves in our personal growth and by our achievements, help others along the way when they discover preparing a speech can be ABC when they discover the
method of doing it.

We make friends along the way who can remain as our models of excellence, fellow comradeship in our communications and leadership journey and moral support in our challenges.
